“I believe physiotherapy should treat the whole person—not just the symptoms—through evidence-based, personalised care that restores movement, confidence and quality of life.”

Viola Vajova - Founder of Vivat Physiotherapy

My Journey into Physiotherapy

I founded Vivat Physiotherapy to support and empower people experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. My passion for physiotherapy began in my youth as a national-level sprinter, where injuries introduced me to the transformative impact of skilled rehabilitation.

I earned my first Physiotherapy degree in 2004 in Slovakia and worked as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist before moving to England for further professional growth.

In 2013, I completed a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy at London South Bank University while also working as a Dental Nurse alongside a Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Specialist, gaining valuable expertise in jaw, joint and muscle pain management.

My Clinical Approach and Expertise

With extensive experience treating patients in both the NHS and private clinics, I am committed to providing personalised, evidence-based treatment grounded in the latest research. I continuously invest in my professional development, currently pursuing a Master’s degree at St. George’s University of London, and undertaking advanced international courses, including the Integrated Systems Model, Oncology Physiotherapy Exercise and Rehabilitation, and other specialised training. My holistic approach focuses on identifying the root cause of pain, using tailored treatment plans that combine manual therapy, exercise therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue techniques, and Pilates (including antenatal and postnatal). Over the years, I have successfully treated a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal issues, from joint and soft-tissue injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation, hypermobility, posture-related pain, pregnancy-related concerns, repetitive strain injuries, and sports injuries.
